The Lost Kid

Filing a report for the lost kid,

Who was stuck in the race to take the lead,

Giving up his childhood without a second thought,

Fighting the pressure and anxiety which maturity brought,

Trading his innocence with the hope of living a rapturous life,

Got fooled by the delusion and developed a perpetual strife.

Denying him the pleasure of cards, games, and cakes,

We traumatized him with money, marks, and heartbreaks.

Surviving these catastrophic conditions,

The kid still battles his own inhibitions.

Let’s find this lost kid and stop this obnoxious deed,

He may still be hiding in our own subconscious greed!
